Jagadguru graces Gangavati, North Karnataka March 24, 2014

On the evening of 23rd March 2014, the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji reached Gangavati of Koppal District and was given a devotional welcome by the devotees. In the Sabha conducted immediately after the procession, a Swagata Patrika was offered to the Jagadguru by former MP Sri H R G Ramulu.

Jagadguru graces Raichur, North Karnataka March 23, 2014

On the evening of 21st March, the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji was received at Raichur by the devotees with a reverential welcome. In the Swagata Sabha organised after the grand procession, the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji gave Ashirvachanam and expressed happiness to see a beautiful new temple with the Murtis of Sri Ganapati, Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Sri Sharadamba, and Sri Anandeeshwara at Raichur.

Wherever the Jagadguru graces, the residents of the place deem it a day of festival underlined by feelings of Guru Bhakti. Gulbarga was no exception in this regard. The Jagadguru reached Afzalpur of Gulbarga district on 19th March evening to a reverential reception from the devotees. The Jagadguru was taken in a grand procession to the Sringeri Shankara Math branch at Afzalpur. In the evening Sabha, after the Swagata patra samarpanam, the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji blessed every one with an elaborate Anugraha Bhashanam explaining Dharma and Adharma, and the necessity to follow Dharma.

The Jagadguru arrived at Ganagapura of Gulbarga District and was taken in procession after a traditional welcome to the temple where Sri Adi Shankara, Sri Sharadamba and Sri Narasimha Saraswati Murtis are installed. On the way the Jagadguru had Darshan of the Paduka at the holy shrine of Sri Datta Nirguna matha.

The Jagadguru reached Bijapur in the evening of 16th March 2014 and was given a devotional welcome and was taken in a procession to the newly built Sringeri Shankara Math at Bijapur. The procession lasted for an hour and was filled with varieties of bands, Bhajans, Veda & Stotra chanting. Children dressed up as Sri Adi Shankara and Sri Sharadamba.

On the evening of 15th March 2014 the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji arrived at Badami – Banashankari of Bagalkot District. The Jagadguru was given a traditional welcome and was taken in a procession to the Banashankari temple. After having the Darshan of Goddess Shakambari, the Jagadguru gave an Anugraha Bhashanam and blessed the assembled devotees.

The Jagadguru was received at Hubballi of Dharwad District on the evening of 14th March 2014 and was taken in a grand procession to the Guruvandana programme organised on the occasion of tenth anniversary of Advaita Prabodhaka Sangha since it became affiliated to the Sringeri Math and installed the Murti of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankara at Hubballi.

Jagadguru graces Ranebennur, North Karnataka March 13, 2014

The Jagadguru arrived at Ranebennur of Haveri District on the evening of 13th March 2014. A warm reverential welcome was given to the Jagadguru by the devotees of Ranebennur and a grand procession was arranged which lasted for more than a hour. The Jagadguru was taken respectfully in the procession to the newly constructed Shankara Math at Ranebennur.
