Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji will perform the Kumbhabhisheka at the Sringeri Sharada Nilayam, Srisailam on Friday, November 16, 2012. The Kumbhabhisheka Muhurta begins at 9:30 am, and Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) and Sankara TV will telecast the event live from around 9 am onwards.

The construction of the grand Raja-gopuram at the entrance of the Sri Math premises completed stage one on Wednesday, the 26th of September 2012 marking the completion of the granite stone base of the one hundred and thirty two feet tall Rajagopuram, with ornate façade carvings.
