In the Guruvandana Sabha organised in the premises of the Shivaganga Math, Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam was accorded a devout welcome. The present Mathadhipati, Sri Purushottama Bharati Swamiji performed Dhuli Padapuja and offered Shodashopachara including the offering of Shweta Chatram etc. Speaking on the occasion, the Karnataka Brahmana Sabha President Sri Ashok Haranahalli mentioned that the Shivaganga Sringeri Math has been blessed and guided by Sringeri Jagadgurus since it was established, and has been adorned with Sannyasins who ever engage themselves in their Japa and Anushthana. He also read out a list of significant events under the reign of the present Mathadhipati. In his Bhashanam, Sri Purushottama Bharati Swamiji mentioned that it was the blessings of Jagadguru Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam that many developmental activities have been taking place. He also sought the blessings of Sri Sannidhanam for the proposed renovation and construction of a granite temple for Goddess Sharadamba in the Math. The Shivaganga Math officials led by the Math Administrator Sri Ganesh performed elaborate arrangements under the direction of Sri Purushottama Bharati Swamiji.

Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam then blessed the assembled devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam elaborating on the greatness of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Sri Sannidhanam said, “The help that Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada has rendered to mankind by showing us all the path of welfare is immense and it is our bounden duty to pay our gratitude to the Jagadguru. It is with this intention that My Parapara Guru, Jagadguru Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Nrisimha Bharati Mahaswamiji constructed a magnificent temple for Bhagavatpada in Kalady and directed all to celebrate Sri Shankara Jayanti for five days. My Guru, Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam constructed a beautiful  granite temple for Bhagavatpada at Sringeri a decade ago, and performed its Swarna (golden) Shikhara Kumbhabhisheka during this year’s Shankara Jayanti Mahotsava. Following the path of the Sringeri Jagadgurus, Sri Purushottama Bharati Swamiji, as a way of expressing his gratitude, has now constructed a granite temple for Bhagavatpada in the Shivanganga Math.” Calling on the disciples of the Shivaganga Sringeri Math to come forward, co-operate and participate in the developmental activities planned by the Swamiji, Sri Sannidhanam concluded the Anugraha Bhashanam blessing the Swamiji, dignitaries including former MLA Sri Prasanna Kumar, Sri Dwarakanath of Sri Charan Bank and all the assembled devotees.

On the morning of June 23, 2022, Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam first performed elaborate Puja and Kumbhabhisheka to Sri Sharadamba in the Math premises. He then went to the newly built Sri Shankaracharya temple and performed Puja, Pranapratishtha and Kumbhabhisheka to the chants of Vedic mantras. Sri Sannidhanam then performed the Shikhara Kumbhabhisheka of the temple and also graced the Poornahuti of Maharudra Mahayaga performed during the occasion.

  • Just as in this body, the embodied one passes through boyhood, youth, and old age, so does one pass into another body. With reference to this (birth, aging and death), the wise man is not disturbed. Bhagavan Sri Krishna on Significance of God
  • An object continues to be dear as long as one derives pleasure from it and it is detested for the duration that it causes pain. The same object cannot be always liked or disliked. Sometimes, that which is not dear may become dear. Moreover, that which was loveable can turn unpleasant. The Atma, towards which affection never wanes, is always the most beloved. • It is pitiful that when many of us are asked, “who are you?”, The first thought that arises is “I am a Keralite”, or “I am a Punjabi”, etc. The thought that should immediately stem is “I am an Indian”. If people first feel that they are Indians and only then think of divisions, the nation will have great prosperity and the divisive forces will not be operative as they are today.
