Teppotsava of Sri Malahanikareshwara Swami

On the 11th day of the Tungabhadra Pushkara, a grand Teppotsava of Sri Malahanikareshwara Swami along with Sri Vidyashankara Swami, Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya and Goddess Sri Sharadamba was performed.

Earlier in the evening, Laksha Bilva Archana was performed at the shrine of Lord Sri Malahanikareshwara Swami. Later, Lakshadeepotsava was celebrated in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji, beginning with the Deepotsavas at the shrines of Sri Stambha Ganapati, Sri Malahanikareshwara Swami and Sri Bhavani Amba, followed by the lighting of the Jvala Torana outside the temple of Sri Malahanikareshwara Swami.

Thence, the utsava murtis of Lord Sri Bhavani Malahanikareshwara was ceremoniously carried, accompanied by the chanting of Vedic Mantras. The Jagadguru also graced the deepotsava at the Shrine of Sri Sharadamba.

Following this, the Utsava Murtis of Lord Sri Malahanikareshwara, Sri Sharadamba, Sri Adi Shankaracharya and Sri Vidyashankara were placed on the Teppam and Teppotsava was performed.

During the Teppotsava, the ceremonious Arati was also performed on the Northern banks of the Tungabhadra river.
