The day coinciding with Paksha Pradosha, as per tradition of the Sri Matha-Mahasamsthanam, special puja followed by Laksha Durva Archana was performed at the shrine of Shakti Ganapati. Maha-Mangalarati was performed at around 6:30 PM in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam.

The Teppotsava commenced with a ceremonious Aratrika of Tungabhadra Devi was performed on the northern bank.
