Jagadguru Graces Begar

Jagadguru Mahaswamiji performing Kumbhabhisheka to Anjaneya Swami at Begar

On the morning of 12th May 2014, the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at Begar for performing Kumbhabhisheka of Lord Ganapati and Sri Anjaneya Swami. The Jagadguru Mahaswamiji performed elaborate Puja, Brahma Kalashabhisheka and PunaH Pratishtha at these Sannidhis. In the Guruvandanam function organised immediately after the Kumbhabhisheka, the Jagadguru blessed the assembled devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. The Jagadguru mentioned that we worship Lord Ganapati for the removal of all the obstacles and worship Anjaneya to attain a good intellect, physical strength, fame, courageousness, fearlessness, good health, industriousness and eloquence. The Jagadguru added that when we face difficulties in life, we go to a temple and pray to God and take refuge in Him. God’s grace can be vouched through His service, chanting His holy name and remembering Him. The Jagadguru concluded His Bhashanam with the message that if we maintain the temple well, the surrounding villages will flourish well. The Jagadguru then blessed one and all for renovating the temple and conducting the Kumbhabhisheka.
