Jagadguru Mahaswamiji worshipping Lord Lakshmi Narasimha on the occasion of Narasimha Jayanti

On May 13th 2014, the Narasimha Jayanti was celebrated with Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji offering special Puja to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha at Gurunivas at noon. Vedic Chants comprising Purusha Sukta, Narayana Sukta and Vishnu Sukta of Rig Veda filled the air as the Jagadguru performed Abhisheka to Lord Narasimha, the Avatara signifying the omnipresence of the Lord. At the end of the Puja, the Jagadguru also did Parayana of Srimad Bhagavatam that depicts the Avatara of Lord Narasimha. In the evening, the Jagadguru went to the Lakshminarasimha Swami temple at Narasimhapura and had Darshan when the evening Arati was performed.
