Girija Kalyanam was celebrated at the Malahanikareshwara temple in the divine presence of the Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji on Vaishakha Shukla Dwadashi which fell on May 11th this year. The Pandits from Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samkrita Mahapathashala chanted the verses pertaining to ceremonies of the wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Girija. The ceremonies connected with the Utsavam were concluded with a Mangala Aarati at around midnight.
