Girija Kalyanam was celebrated at the Malahanikareshwara temple in the presence of the Jagadguru on Vaishakha Shulka Dwadashi which fell on May 6th this year. The following day, Narasimha Jayanti was celebrated with the Jagadguru offering special Puja at Guru Nivas at noon and having Darshan at the Lakshmi Narasimhaswami temple at Narasimhapura Agrahara near Sringeri at twilight, the time of the Avatara.
