With the blessings of Acharyal, this year’s Mandala Pooja for Dharma Shasta (Lord Ayyappa) will be conducted in the Math Premises in a grand manner. Given below is the schedule of functions.

In continuation of the 60th year of the Jagadguru celebrations, during this month Laksharchana was performed at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur,Mumbai 400 071. A large number of shisyas particiated in the function.

With the blessings of Acharyal, Ardra Darshanam (Arudra Darshanam) will be celebrated at the Math premises on the morning of 22.12.2010 at 5 A.M with special abhisheka to Lord Sri Nataraja’s idol amidst vedic chanting by Pathashala vidyarthees and devotees, alankara, archana and procession. This will be followed by regular Dhanur Masa Puja and distribution of prasada.

Devotees are welcome to attend the function and become the recipients of the Grace of Lord Nataraja.

Vaikuntha Ekadashi was celebrated in a grand style on the 17th of this month with abhisheka and special puja at the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord Navaneethakrishna in the morning, after the dhanur-masa puja. In the evening, the utsava-murthi adorned in garuda vahana was taken in procession through the Svarga Dwara followed by Special Puja and Managalarathi.

Daily Dhanur-masa-puja is being performed during the month of Margazhi (16.12.2010 up to 14.01.2011) at the shrines of Sri Ratnagarbhaganapathy, Sri Saradamabal and Sri Navaneethakrishna in the Branch Math at West Mambalam at 5.30 A.M in the mornings. Maha Mangalarathi is at 6.15 Am followed by distribution of prasada.

In honour of the coming 61st Vardhanti celebrations of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, various Lectures and Carnatic music sessions have been arranged at the Tattvaloka Auditorium in Chennai in the month of December 2010. Vidyatirtha Foundation at Chennai is celebrating the 93rd Jayanti celebration of the 35th Jagadguru Shanakracharya of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji at Chennai between 1st and 5th December 2010.

Deepavali was celebrated in a grand manner on 5th and 6th of November 2010. The entire temple was decorated with deepas and grand rangoli.

In continuation of the 60th Year of Jagadguru, a special Laksharchana for Goddess Saradambal will be performed on Sunday the 19th of December 2010 at 7.30 am.
