Jayanti and Aradhana of the 33rd Acharya


 

The Jayanti and Aradhana of the 33rd Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji was observed at Sringeri on March 31 and April 7, 2019.

On the Jayanti day (Phalguna Krishna Ekadashi), a Sabha was organized at the Adhishtanam of the Acharya. Scholars and students of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala recounted the life of the Acharya. Vidwan Sri Krishnaraja Bhat of the Pathashala presided over the Sabha and gave a Sanskrit speech recounting the life of the Acharya. Vidyarthis also spoke about various anecdotes related to the Acharya and remembered how the Acharya had graced Shishyas. After Shatarudra Abhisheka, Mahamangalarati took place in the presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam. At night, after the Chandramoulishwara Puja, Sri Sannidhanam offered a special Puja at the Adhishtanam of His Parapara Guru. The Mahamangalarati took place in the divine presence of Sri Mahasannidhanam.

On April 7, 2019 (Chaitra Shukla Dviteeya), commemorating the 107th Aradhana of Jagadguru Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji, a special Aradhana Puja was performed by Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam. At night, after Sri Sannidhanam performed the Chandramoulishwara Puja, Sri Mahasannidhanam offered a special worship with Rudra Kramarchana at the Adhishtanam of His Parameshti Guru. Sri Sannidhanam also had Darshan and was present till the Mahamangalarati. Ashtavadhana Seva took place, following which Stotras composed by Sri Mahasannidhanam on the great Acharya were chanted in chorus.
