Kumbhabhishekas and Yagas around Sringeri in April 2014


 

In April 2014, the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji took half a day short tours around Sringeri for performing Kumbhabhisheka and gracing the Poournahuti of Rudra and Chandi Homas conducted on special occasions. On 13th April 2014, the Jagadguru performed the PunaH pratishtha Kumbhabhisheka in the Ishwara temple, maintained by the Peetham at Shunya near Menase. On 18th April 2014 Kumbhabhisheka at Sri Ananta Padmanabha swamy temple, Heggadde was performed and the Jagadguru blessed one and all with an Ashirvachanam. On 23rd April 2014 the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji graced Jayapura for the Maharudra Poornahuti performed by Sri S.N.Sheshagiri and S.N.Krishnamurthy. The Maharudra was performed on the occasion of the completion of 50 years by Sri S.N.Krishnamurthy who is the personal assistant of the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji and has been serving in the Peetham for more than three decades. On 24th April 2014, the Jagadguru graced the Shatachandi Poornahuti at Vidyaranyapura and blessed the devotees with an Ashirvachanam. On 26th April 2014, the Jagadguru graced the Poornahuti of Maharudra homa and performed Pooja to Panchayatana Murtis in the Shiva Panchayatana Devasthana at Heddase. On 27th April 2014, the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji performed PunaH Pratishtha Kumbhabhisheka to Durga Parameshwari at Kikkare.
