Sringeri Shankar Math Pune at Veda Sastroktejas Sabha


 

Justice Mahadeo Govind Ranade established an institute for promoting Sanskrit language in Pune in 1875, when there was no electricity, rail link or proper roads in the city.

Now, this institute, Veda Sastroktejas Sabha, as per central government resolution, conducts all India exams in Sanskrit such as Pravesh (VII standard), Abhignya(degree equivalent to B.A) and Chudamani (M.A).This year the exams were held for ten days (17th to 27th October 2013).

Sri Sringeri Shankar Math, Pune provided the required materials for preparation of food for all the students, their teachers and the examiners.
