Sharan-Navaratri celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Math

With the Benign Blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Peetham, Sringeri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Sharan Navarathri Mahotsava will be celebrated at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai from Tuesday, 15th October 2012 to 25th October 2012.

Mahabhisheka to the utsava murti of Sri Sharadamba will be performed on October 15. In the following days, Goddess Sharada will be decorated with different alankaras adorning different vahanas, in accordance with the customs of Sri Sringeri Math. On Tuesday, the 23rd October Nava Chandi Homam will be performed.

Beginning October 16, Special puja, Chandi Parayanam, Suvasini Pooja and Kanya Pooja will be performed daily in the morning. The Maha-Mangalarati will be performed at around 12.30 pm.
