Sri Sharan-Navaratri Mahotsava celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math


 

With the Benign Blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Peetham, Sringeri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Sharan Navarathri Mahotsava will be celebrated at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai  from Tuesday, 27th September 2011 to 7th October 2011.  Mahabhishekam will be performed to Goddess Sharadamba on 27th September 2011 and the Utsava deity will be decorated on Silver Vahana daily from that day to 6th October 2011. Chandi Prayanam, Suvasini/Kanya Pooja will be performed daily.  Sangeetha seva will be there on all days during Navaratri. On the evening of 6th October 2011 – Vijayadasam day – Goddess Saradambal will be taken out grand procession deocrated in a Silver Chariot.  Shakambari Alankaram (decorated with Vegetables and Fruits) on 7th October 2011 will be concluding day of Navarathri.
