Makara Sankranti

Makara Shankarathi will be celebrated on Saturday, 15th January 2011. Varuna Bhagavan will be invoked in a Khalasa and Suryanamaskara Mantra will be recited by Vidyarthis of Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Veda Samskrita Patashala and public. The pooja will commence around 6.30 am and Maha Deeparana will take place at 8 am.

Durga Puja

Durga Pooja will be performed on all Fridays and Tuesdays of Tamil Thai masam. Durgambal will be offered in a Kuthi vilakku in Saradambal Sannidhi. The pooja will be performed in the evening and Maha Deeparadhana will take place around 7 pm.

Bhagavati Seva

Bhagavathi Seva will be performed on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 around 6.00 pm. Goddess Bhagavati will be invoked in a Kuthivilakku along wih Maha Ganapathy and Guru in two other Kuthivilakkus. After avahana and pooja, Lalitha Sahasranama, Trisathi and Ashtotra Archana will be performed. Devotees will also join the recitation of Sahasranama, Trisathi and Ashtotra during Archana. Side by side Sri Chandi Parayanam will be rendered. The Maha Deeparadhana will take place around 8.30 pm

Deepa Puja by Suvasinis

Deepa Pooja by suvasinis in the hall in front of Goddess Saradambal sannithi will take place on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 5.00 pm . Suvasinis will perform Lalitha Sahasranama Archana in the Kuthi vilakku . Around 100 Suvasinis will perform pooja.
