Sri Sharan-Navaratri Mahotsavam at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math


 

In accordance with Gracious Direction and Bountiful Blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, it has been decided to celebrate the Sharada Sharan-Navaratri Mahotsava this year from 07.10.2010 to 18.10.2010 at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai.

The functions will begin with Maha Abhishekam to Goddess Sharadambal on Thursday the 7th October 2010 and culminate with Sakhambari Alankara on Monday, the 18th October 2010.  There will be a grand procession of Goddess Saradambal in a Silver Ratha on Vijaya Dasami Day, Sunday, the 17th October 2010.  Sri Chandi Parayanam will take place on all the days during Navarathri and Sri Chandio Homa will beperformed on Navami day, i.e. on Saturday, 16th October 2010.

Goddess Saradambal will be decorated with different Silver Vahana Alankaras daily.  For daily Alankara details, Sangeetha Seva  and Navaratri Seva Details please see the attached Invitation.

Devotees are requested to have darshan of Goddess Sharadambal during all the days of Navarathri Mahotsava and receive the Blessings of Goddess Sharadambal and over revered Jagadguru.
