60th Vardhanti Celebrations at Sringeri commences with Lakshamodaka Homam


 

The 60th Vardhanti celebrations of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji commenced with the Lakshamodaka Homam which was performed on the 16th of March 2010 at the Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswami Sabha Bhavanam in the precincts of the Math.

Around 50 Ritwijas performed this grand Homam comprising of a lakh modakas being offered to Lord Mahaganapati. His Holiness was present at the begining function and also graced the Purnahuti ceremony in the afternoon, which concluded the Homam.
