ISRO Chairman has darshan of the Jagadguru

ISRO Chairman, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Madhavan Nair had Darshan of the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji on 3^rd October 2009 and briefed about the success of the moon mission Chandrayaan-1. The Jagadguru blessed Dr. Nair and conveyed His benediction for the future efforts of ISRO. Dr. Madhavan Nair was then accompanied by Sri V R Gowrishankar, Administrator and CEO of the Peetham to Sri Shankara Advaita Research Centre. Dr. Nair expressed great interest on being given a presentation on certain scientific aspects of ancient India including those pertaining to the 14^th century Sayana Bhashya of the Rig Veda (by Jagadguru Sri Vidyaranya, the 12^th Acharya of the Peetham) and Srimad Bhagavatam.
