The annual Mahaganapati Vakyartha Vidwat Sabha that commenced on September 7, 2024, drew to a conclusion today at around 8:00 PM.

The Ubhaya Jagadgurus completed their Chaturmasya Vrata today, beginning with darshan of Sri Sharadamba and other deities, before proceeding to Sri Malahanikareshwara and Goddess Bhavani Amba at the sacred hillock of Ishwaragiri in Sringeri.

On the auspicious occasion of Ananta Padmanabha Vrata, observed on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturdashi, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed special puja to Lord Sri Ananta Padmanabha Swami at Gurunivas, upholding the revered traditions of the Sri Math early in the morning.

Bhadrapada Shuddha Dwadashi marks the appearence of the Lord as Vamana .This day is also called Vamana Jayanti. As per ancient traditions of the Peetham,the Jadadguru performed special puja on the previous night (September 15).

On the occasion of Bhadrapada Shuddha Navami, in accordance with the time honoured traditions of the Sri Math, special puja was offered to Lord Kedareshwara by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji at Noon.

The 130th Varshikotsava of the Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala at Sringeri was celebrated on Krodhi Samvatsara Shravana Shukla Shashthi (August 10, 2024). Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam graced the event which began with a Sabha organised at Guru Nivas.
